Join us for our 2nd program on Strategic Leadership! You will have the opportunity to understand how a dynamic and future-focused mindset aids in successful decision-making amidst intense change and pressure at the highest level of the institution. Our speaker's leadership journey began as an undergraduate and continues as a VP and Chief of Staff at her alma mater, Bard College.

Award-winning senior executive, national security professional, and veterans advocate with expertise in strategic planning and organizational management in the federal government, the military, academia, non-profits, and the private sector, and with deep regional experience in China and East Asia.


Jennifer Murray (she/her) is the Dean of International Studies and Director of the Institute for International Liberal Education at Bard College. She is a Forum on Education Abroad certified professional and recipient of a Fulbright International Education Administrator’s award to Korea. Jennifer earned her BA in English at Rutgers University and MS Ed in Higher Education Administration at Baruch College, CUNY. Jennifer began her career in international education as an English teacher at the University of Pecs, Hungary. Since that time, she has worked with adult and military veteran students at SUNY Ulster, international student advising at the School of Visual Arts, and with student disability services at Hunter College.
