Beth Veasey, Chief Financial Officer at Marist College shares reflections on her leadership journey through the intersection of finance and higher education. We will consider questions such as, how does financial sustainability influence mission effectiveness; what are the “right” measures for return on investment in a higher education context; how does long range planning influence annual budgets; and what should we all understand about college finances in order for us to become more effective advocates for our programs and stewards of institutional resources?
