Thanks to our sponsors:  ISA, University of Colorado - Boulder International Programs, and the Learning Abroad Center,  University of Minnesota

Meet us at Marlowe's restaurant (easy walking distance from the conference hotel).  Your ticket includes 1 classic bar drink or soft drink and appetizers.

Our special guest is Amanda Mountain, CEO of Rocky Mountain Public Media.  You can read more about Amanda below.  At 7:00pm, Amanda will share her story of rising up as one of the youngest female CEOs in broadcast history along with a new PBS Storytelling program for women and girls.  Her story is one of INFLUENCE which is the 2017-18 theme for the Global Leadership League.   Join us!

Amanda Mountain was named earlier this year as CEO of Rocky Mountain Public Media, the parent organization of Rocky Mountain PBS and KUVO Jazz. She is the first female CEO in the organization’s 62-year history.

At 41 years old, Amanda is one of the youngest public media CEOs nationwide and one of only a handful of women. In a world dominated mostly by olde
r men, Amanda is the future of public media and continues to prove herself as an innovator at Rocky Mountain Public Media, the largest statewide, member-supported, multi-media network in Colorado. She is passionate about public media, citizen storytelling, and a future where individuals have greater access to resources that enable them to tell their stories.

She is also leading the organization through a $30 million capital campaign, which will fund t
he Buell Public Media Center, Rocky Mountain Public Media’s new headquarters building downtown.

It was standing room only at this incredible event with speaker Amanda Mountain, President and CEO of Rocky Mountain Public Media. Amanda shared her wisdom on how to go after what you want and the importance of leaders doing things throughout the day to ground them - such as a quick five-minute mediation in the car! We were lucky to hear her speak!
